What does my donation do?
MATES relies on fundraising and donations as an essential part of funding. Every dollar counts toward MATES providing suicide prevention training and support to our Construction Industry.
Support Your MATES
Every dollar counts toward helping MATES save lives in the Construction, Mining and Energy industries, and we thank you for supporting MATES and workers in our industries who may be doing it tough.
$50 Donation
Supports training materials for 3 x Connectors who will go on to become the contact person on site for support.
$100 Donation
$100 supports 1 hr of case management: which could be several people, or one person needing time, receiving direct support from MATES social workers.
$1,000 Donation
$1,000 supports 2 x trainers for a day of training General Awareness (GAT) and Connector sessions: potentially hundreds or workers learning about the problem of suicide in our industry.
$2,000 Donation
$2,000 supports 2 x trainers to present an ASIST course: 30 people ASIST trained and able to create a safe plan for a struggling mate in their workplaces.
