The Frontline of MATES

MATES Field Officers are our front-line staff, delivering General Awareness Talks, Connector, and ASIST training directly to worksites. They stay engaged with sites throughout the life of a project, right through to project completion.

Many of our Field Officers come from industry backgrounds. They are everyday people who understand the job because they’ve lived it. They know how sites operate, and recognise how working conditions can affect workers and those around them. Their strength lies in understanding the unique pressures of each industry and connecting with workers in a real and relatable way.

MATES Case Managers are qualified Psychologists or Social Workers and come with diverse experience. Each case manager understands the construction industry recognising the challenges faced by workers. They are committed to managing cases with respect and professionalism, ensuring that every interaction is handled with confidentiality. This dedication helps build trust with the individuals they support, allowing for effective intervention. By prioritising the well-being of workers, MATES Case Managers play a vital role in promoting mental health and safety.
