Help Improve Mental Health for Women in Construction
Have Your Say in the Women in Construction Mental Health Survey
MATES in Construction SA is proud to support a new research project led by the University of South Australia, exploring the real experiences of women working in construction, especially when it comes to mental health, distress, and the challenges that make it hard to ask for help.
Although suicide rates in construction are significantly higher than in other industries, the voices of women remain under-represented in research. This study aims to change that.
What’s involved
Participants will take part in:
- A confidential one-on-one interview (approx. 45 minutes)
- Conducted in person or online (Zoom/Teams — your choice)
- Interview questions provided beforehand, so you know what to expect
- A thank-you of two $50 gift cards (total value $100)
Participation is voluntary and fully confidential. All experiences shared will be treated with sensitivity and respect.
